Calloway County junior Adison Hicks has been named to the Kentucky Softball Coaches Association Class 2A All-State Second Team.
Hicks hit .536 for the Lady Lakers in 2021 with a team-high seven home runs. She also drove in 25 runs and scored 51 times. She had 39 stolen bases in 40 attempts and struck out just five times in 138 plate appearances.
While Kentucky softball is an unclassified sport, the coaches split the state into three classes for the purpose of its all-state awards given out each year.
