Madisonville-North Hopkins High alum Jackson Watts has been named First-Team All-State in two events by the Kentucky Track and Cross Country Coaches Association.
Watts finished second in the 1600-meter run at the Class 3A State Meet earlier this month in 4:17.07, breaking his own school record by a second. St. Xavier’s Nolan Hester won the event in 4:15.22.
Watts was second in the 3200-meter run at state in 9:17.93. Theo Bachmann of South Oldham won in 9:14.89.
