Karra Tucker ground out a top-20 finish at the Kentucky Girls’ Junior Amateur Tournament Friday at the Bardstown Country Club.
The Madisonville North-Hopkins High School junior opened play Thursday with a 6-over 78. Her round included two birdies.
On Friday, three double-bogeys proved to be her undoing as she finished with a round of 83.
Tucker finished the two-day event at 17-over par which was good for 17th place.
Claira Beth Ramsey of Richmond won the tournament by two shots with a two-over 146.
