Megan Hertter finished in 12th place at the Kentucky Girls’ Junior Amateur Tournament hosted by the Bardstown Country Club.
The Marshall County High School senior struggled to find consistency in her opening round Thursday, coming in with a round of 80.
She improved in Friday’s second round, hitting her stride and shooting a 1-over 37 on the back nine. Hertter finished Friday with a 5-over 77 and finished the tournament a 13-over par, good for 12th place.
Claira Beth Ramsey of Richmond won the tournament by two shots with a two-over 146.
