As we wind down the days on our fourth year here at YourSportsEdge.Com, we are continuing to look back at what has been a very different, and sometimes difficult sports year. COVID-19 impacted schedules and crowds, but at least there was action throughout the year.
Taking a look back at the past year, we have been fortunate to produce a bunch of great video, interviews, highlights, and more. With so much video, we decided to take a look at the Top 10 videos of the athletic year, not including Max’s Moments, which have their own countdown, that were published on YourSportsEdge.Com.
We move now to the video that comes in at #6.
Apollo’s Macey Brown put together 37 consistent holes of golf and won the KHSAA Girls’ State Golf Championship on the first playoff hole on October 10 at the Bowling Green Country Club. On the first playoff hole, Brown made par and became the first golfer from Owensboro since Janice Johnson in 1969 to win a girls’ state title. A week earlier, Brown won the Region 2 title at the Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club.
