Emma Talley says she is giddy to be back at the Marathon LPGA Classic presented by Dana in the Toledo area.
Talley was even happy to be among those being interviewed by LPGA staff and the media prior to this week’s event on Wednesday.
Talley says the Highland Meadows Golf Club course reminds her somewhat of the Princeton Golf Club course.
Fresh off a career-low round of 63 Sunday at the Volunteers of America Classic in the Dallas area, Talley says she finally feels like she’s back to her old self.
Talley is scheduled to tee off at 11:48 a.m. Central time on Thursday in the afternoon group at Highland Meadows Golf Club, but will have an early tee time in the second round. Talley’s threesome will tee off at 7:53 a.m. Eastern time on Friday.
The field will be cut to the low 70 plus ties following the second round for action this weekend.
Talley enters the Marathon LPGA Classic off a fourth-place showing last week in the Volunteers of America Classic.
Talley already owns two Top-5 finishes in the Toledo event.
