Madisonville-North Hopkins High School golfer Jackson Hill finished tied for third Wednesday in the Kentucky Boys’ Junior Amateur Tournament.
Hill shot 6-under-par over the two days at Nevel Meade Golf Club in Prospect. He fired a 4-under 67 in the first round that included a 31 on the back-nine capped by an eagle on the par-5 18th hole.
He shot a 1-under 71 in Wednesday’s final round.
Luke Muller of Highlands High School won the tourney at nine-under – two shots ahead of second-place Matthew Troutman.
