Emma Talley shot an even-par 71 in the second round of the Marathon LPGA Classic presented by Dana on Friday.
But a 2-over 73 on Thursday caused her to miss the cut by two shots in this week’s event at Highland Meadows Golf Club in Toledo. Only those at even-par overall or better advanced to this weekend’s action.
Talley headed to Ohio off a fourth-place showing last week in the Volunteers of America Classic in Texas.
However, she couldn’t keep the momentum going in the first round this week.
Talley will play in the LPGA Tour’s Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational July 15-18 in Midland, Mich.
