Hunter Reynolds picked up a 4-shot win Friday at the Bluegrass Junior Golf Tour event at Kenny Perry’s Country Creek Golf Club in Franklin.
The Trigg County golfer shot a 2-over 73 to edge Logan County’s Elijah Forbes by four shots. Reynolds went out at 4-over 40 but shot 2-under on the back nine.
With the win, Reynolds moved up to fifth place in the season-long BGT point standings. It was his first win on the tour since the Calvert City stop in April.
Hunter’s younger brother Haydon Reynolds finished fourth in the 12-14 division with a 13-over par 84. He finished 10 shots behind the winner, Bo Shelton of Glasgow.
