Landon Hunt shot 5-over par to finish in third place Thursday at the GO Junior Golf Series stop at Panther Creek in Daviess County.
Hunt’s round was five shots behind the winner, Jax Malone, and three behind second-place Will Hume – both of Owensboro.
Hunt’s Christian County High teammate Brady Hightower finished tied for fifth place in the 13-15 division with a round of 80.
Ben Dickerson finished tied for seventh place with an 81. Gavin Sheets shot an 87, and Maddox Wilson had a 114. All three golfers are from Madisonville.
