Conlee Lindsey shot a career-best score to finish in a first-place tie in the GO Junior Series Southern Championship Thursday.
The University Heights Academy freshman shot a 6-over-par 77, tying her with Owensboro’s Alexa Salamah, who was declared the winner on a scorecard playoff.
Lindsey shot an even-par 35 on the front nine of the Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club and a 42 on the back nine.
Hopkinsville sophomore Anna Fort shot an 88 to finish in third place, and Madisonville’s Sydney Browning was fourth with a 90.
Salamah won the season-long championship based on points with Browning finishing second.
