The Caldwell County Tiger football team played four games in the McCracken County Small School 7-on-7 tournament in Paducah on Thursday.
The skill position competition saw the Tigers go 0-4 but get in a lot of action for a lot of young players.
In pool play, the Tigers fell to Eldorado, Ill., 26-8; Jackson, Tenn., Christian 32-20; and Union County 37-8.
In the single-elimination bracket portion of the tournament, Caldwell was paired with Mt. Carmel, Ill., and dropped a 22-8 decision.
The Tigers have another 7-on-7 event next Friday, July 23, when they play in the FCA 7-on-7 at Murray State University.
The first official scrimmage for the Caldwell County Tiger football team is three weeks away.
Caldwell is set to host Owensboro Catholic on Friday, Aug. 6, at Tiger Stadium.
