Emma Talley and this week’s teammate, Jodi Ewart Shadoff, have made the cut at the 2021 Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational in Midland, Michigan.
The duo shot a 6-under-par 64 in best-ball action on Thursday in the second round. Talley and Ewart Shadoff shot a 2-over 72 in alternate-shot play in the first round.
The 4-under total of 136 put them right on the cutline and in a tie for 31st heading into the third round of the team tournament tonight at Midland Country Club.
The Jutanugarn sisters, Ariya and Moriya, shot an 11-under 59 in best-ball play Thursday to take a two-stroke lead in the Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational.
The Jutanugarns had a 14-under 126 total after opening with a 67 on Wednesday in alternate-shot play.
The two-person teams will play alternate shot again today before closing with best ball in the final round on Saturday.
Looking ahead, the Evian Championship, the fourth major of the year, is next week in France.
Talley has earned a spot in the field for the Evian Championship in Evian-les-bains, France.
