Emma Talley has her tee times for the first two rounds of the Amundi Evian Championship in France.

Twenty-seven different counties are represented in this week’s event, the fourth major of the season on the LPGA Tour. Talley will play with Jing Yan of Shanghai, China, and Amy Yang of Seoul, Republic of Korea, in the first two rounds.

That group tees off on No. 1 at 8:06 a.m. Thursday morning in Evian-les-Bains, France. With the 7-hour time difference, that’s 1:06 a.m. Thursday morning in the Central time zone.

Talley’s threesome will begin their second round on the No. 10 tee box on Friday at 12:51 p.m. in France or 5:51 a.m. CDT.

One-hundred twenty-six players begin action on Thursday in the 72-hole stroke-play event. After 36 holes, the field at the Evian Championship will be cut to the top 60 players and ties.

This week’s purse is $4.5 million. The winner’s portion of that is $675,000.

The Evian Championship fell victim to the COVID pandemic last year.

Talley’s first appearance in that event came in 2018. She tied for 37th that year, earning $20,835.

Talley played in the Evian Championship in 2019 but did not make the cut after back-to-back rounds of 74.
