Hopkinsville junior Laney Wilson didn’t get on the scoresheet last season in a mostly defensive role, but she took full advantage of an opportunity to lead the line for the Lady Tigers at last weekend’s Bluegrass State Games in Lexington.
After notching a first-half hat trick in a 4-1 victory over Henry County, she talked about her performance and the benefits of spending time with her teammates on and off the field.
