Christian County eighth grader Landon Hunt recorded the lowest round of his career on Saturday at the Madisonville-North Hopkins Invitational.
Hunt carded a 32 on the front nine holes and shot 41 on the back nine to finish at 1-over-par 73 on the Lakeshore Country Club course.
Hunt was one of just two golfers to shoot 73, tying with Tyler Dew of McCracken County for sixth place individually.
Christian County had one other golfer in the event. Houston George recorded an 84, which included a 36 on the front side.
Daviess County freshman Grant Broughton claimed medalist honors with a 2-under-par 70.
Greenwood had four players score in the 70s and won the team championship with a score of 298. That was 11 shots better than runner-up McCracken County.
