Hopkinsville opened its 2021 girls’ golf season with a third-place finish at the Lady Maroon Invitational Friday at the Madisonville Country Club.
Cate Blane led the Lady Tigers with a round of 87 which was good for seventh place. She went out with a 44 and came in with a 43.
Anna Fort shot a 43 on the front nine and scored a 92. Anna Blane shot a 95 that included a 46 on the back nine. Audrey Rains rounded out Hoptown’s scoring with a 108.
Madisonville’s Kat Weir shot a 74 to claim medalist honors.
Hopkinsville totaled 382 points to finish behind Madisonville’s 316 and Daviess County’s 366.
