Landon Hunt led Christian County’s golfers in the opening high school golf event of the season Friday.
Hunt shot a 40 on both sides of the course at the Daviess County Invitational at Ben Hawes State Park in Owensboro. His round of 80 was good for a 12th place tie.
Houston George shot an 82, and Drew Finchem shot a 124 in his first match as a Colonel.
Madisonville’s Jackson Hill shot a 1-under 70 to take medalist honors, defeating Owensboro Catholic’s Jakob Wellman in a playoff.
