The Caldwell County Lady Tiger volleyball team turned in a 3-3 showing this weekend at the Bluegrass State Games in Lexington.
Caldwell, the defending 2nd Region champion, picked up wins over Christian County, Marion County and Pulaski County.
But the Lady Tigers dropped matches with reigning 14th Region champion Wolfe County and Bardstown on Friday. The match with Wolfe was close, 22-20, 20-22, 17-15.
Caldwell lost to Taylor County on Sunday in the first round of the fifth flight.
The Lady Tigers will next take part in a multi-team scrimmage at Paducah on Saturday, Aug. 14.
Caldwell will open the regular season on Thursday, Aug. 19, at Christian County.
