Caldwell County’s Claire Knoth pulled down a Top 20 finish at one of the state’s top early season girls’ golf events Monday. Knoth finished her day in the Lady Gator Invitational with a score of 9-over par 81.
That score placed Knoth in a tie for 17th place in the event. McCracken County’s Madison Glisson took medalist honors with a score of 71. Apollo’s Macey Brown took second place with a round of 72.
Knoth shot a five over 41 on the front nine of the course at the Bowling Green Country Club. She finished out with a four over par 40 over the last nine holes.
