One day after a Top 20 finish at a top girls invitational, Caldwell County’s Claire Knoth brought home a Top 15 finish at another Bowling Green event. Playing at the Lady Spartan Invitational Tuesday, Knoth shot an 81 at the Crosswinds Golf Course giving her 14th place in the event.
Knoth shot a 42 on the front nine and then warmed up on the back nine to shoot a 39. Knoth had consecutive birdies on #14, #15, and #16.
Her score was identical to her round Monday in the Lady Gator Invitational, where she finished in a tie for 17th.
Trinity Beth and Megan Hertter, of Marshall County, finished 1-2 on the day. Karra Tucker, of Madisonville-North Hopkins, finished in third place.
