Lyon County’s Travis Perry shot a 3-over-par 39 on Thursday to claim medalist honors in a four-team golf match at Princeton Golf Club.
Perry’s total was two strokes better than Crittenden County’s Jeremiah Foster and Caldwell County’s Collin Whittington. Foster took second on a scorecard playoff.
Crittenden’s Avery Belt carded a 44 while Caldwell’s Austin Crick and Crittenden’s Evan Belt both shot 9-over 45s.
Caldwell’s Camden McGregor and Crittenden’s Parker Kayse were next with 47s.
Lyon’s Luke Burchett and Caldwell’s Cannon Littlejohn shot rounds of 48.
Caldwell’s Ryan Hammett and Cornerstone’s Evan Nance had 49s.
Crittenden won team competition with a 177.
Caldwell was five shots back and took second at 182.
Lyon was third with a 205.
The teams played on the “road” side at the Princeton course, holes 1 and 11-18.
