
Addison Whalen led the Dawson Springs golfers Tuesday at the Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club Invitational with a 17th place finish.
Whalen carded a round of 82 that featured a 39 on the front nine.
Gage Smiley, who won the All A Classic on the same HGCC course last year, shot a 90 on Tuesday with identical 45s on the front and back nines.
Kolby Crook shot a 95 for the Panthers with Grayson Brewer shooting 105 and Jake Back adding a 110.
Trigg County’s Hunter Reynolds shot a 2-over 73 to claim first place, one shot ahead of Madisonville’s Jackson Hill.
As a team, Dawson Springs totaled 372 points to finish in 11th place. Madisonville won the team title with 322 points.
