PHOTOS – Hopkinsville Routs Clarksville Northeast in Scrimmage

The Hopkinsville Tigers were impressive in their first preseason scrimmage of the 2021 football season. In just over three quarters of varsity action, the Tigers outscored Clarksville Northeast 35-7. In addition to the offense putting up 35 points, the Tiger defense overpowered the Eagles, giving up one long touchdown run, but no other first downs on the evening.

The Tigers will have their second and final preseason scrimmage next Friday at McCracken County. Hopkinsville will then open the season August 20 when they host Louisville Ballard at the Stadium of Champions.
