Addison Whalen shot a season-best 1-under 71 to finish second at the Christian County Invitational at Western Hills Golf Course Friday.
Whalen finished three shots behind the winner, Owensboro Catholic’s Jakob Wellman who carded a round of 68.
Gage Smiley followed Whalen’s score with an 83. Kolby Crook shot an 89, and Greyson Brewer and Jake Back each shot a 91.
Dawson Springs totaled 334 points to finish in seventh place. Daviess County won with 305 points.
