Emma Talley is back in action this week after her runner-up finish at the World Invitational in Northern Ireland two weeks ago.
The LPGA Tour and the Ladies European Tour have arrived at the Home of Golf this week for the fifth edition of the Trust Golf Women’s Scottish Open, the third of four events in the LPGA Tour’s 2021 European swing.
The Dumbarnie Links course in Fife, Scotland, will host this week’s event.
One hundred forty-four players will start the Women’s Scottish Open, which is a 72-hole, stroke-play tournament. The field will be cut to the top 70 and ties after 36 holes.
This week’s purse is $1.5 million.
Talley is in the final group to tee off in Thursday’s first round. All of the groups will go off of No. 1, with
Talley’s threesome to begin their round at 3:22 p.m. British Summer Time or 9:22 a.m. Central Daylight Time in the states.
After earning over $130,000 in the World Invitational, Talley has moved up to 62nd on the LPGA Tour official money list. Talley has earned almost $220,000 in 15 events played on the tour this year.
She is 49th in the Race to the CME Globe Season points standings. The Race to the CME Globe is a season-long points competition in which LPGA Members accumulate points in every Official LPGA Tournament to gain entry into the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship. Only the top 72 in the point standings will play in that event.
