The Todd County Central Rebels traveled “south of the border” Friday evening for their final tuneup before the start of the 2021 football season. The Rebels took part in the Robertson County Jamboree.
Todd County Central was matched up against Jo Byrns in their scrimmage at the jamboree.
As it was in their close scrimmage loss to Russellville last Friday night, the Rebel defense was stout. This week, the Rebels gave up no points to Jo Byrns as Todd Central came away with a 12-0 win.
The Rebel scores came on a 31-yard pass from Gavyn Nolan to Jamarion Smith and on a touchdown run from Omarion Riddick.
Todd County Central is slated to open the regular season next Friday night as they host Trigg County.
