First-year head coach Ricky Gehres and his Christian County Colonels made the trip to Fortera Stadium on the campus of Austin Peay State University on Friday night for a final scrimmage before they open the season next week at Caldwell County.
The Colonels were beaten over four quarters by West Creek High School and Rossview, but Gehres saw plenty of positives in the performance.
