Jackson Hill’s third-place finish paced the Madisonville golfers Saturday at the Paducah Tilghman Invitational.
Hill shot a 3-under par 69 on the Paxton Park Golf Course to finish in third, two shots behind the winner Trey Wall of Marshall County. Wall’s teammate Ryan Stokes was second with a round of 68.
The other four Maroon golfers also came in under 88 for the day. Paul Harris shot an 82 with J.T. Witherspoon adding an 83. Andrew Davis shot an 85, and Ben Dickerson carded an 87.
Madisonville’s team score of 319 was good for fourth place. Marshall County scored 281 points to beat St. May by 19 shots for the team title.
