University Heights Academy placed seventh out of 13 teams at Saturday’s Paducah Tilghman Invitational hosted by Paxton Park Golf Course.
Evan Pyle led the Blazer golfers with a round of 82, followed one shot behind Luke Shouse’s 83. Aaron Onate came in with a 93, and Brady Hightower added a 98. Wade Foster was UHA’s fifth golfer with a score of 123.
UHA’s score was 356 which was good for seventh place and eight points behind Hopkinsville for sixth place.
Marshall County’s Trey Wall shot a 5-under 67 to edge teammate Ryan Stokes by one shot for the top spot. Madisonville’s Jackson Hill finished third with a 69.
Marshall County scored 281 points to beat St. May by 19 shots for the team title.
