The Hopkinsville Lady Tigers will resume play Saturday morning in the bronze bracket of the 2021 Apollo Summer Slamdown. The Lady Tigers finished pool play Friday evening with a record of 0-2 following losses to Daviess County and Ballard Memorial.
The Lady Tigers opened play Friday evening taking on Daviess County. The Lady Panthers took a straight-set win over Hopkinsville, winning the first set 25-3 and then completing the sweep with a 25-13 win. Daviess County will play in the silver bracket after a loss to Ballard Memorial.
Hopkinsville finished play Friday night matched up against Ballard Memorial. The Lady Bombers took the match with a straight-set win. Ballard won the opening set 25-5 and then closed out the match winning the second set 25-8.
The Lady Tigers will be back in action Saturday morning at 10am. They will take on Muhlenberg County in the opening round of the bronze bracket at Apollo High School.
