The Hopkinsville Lady Tigers’ soccer team will have to wait a couple of more days to get their season up and started. The Lady Tigers, who had been in COVID protocols, had been scheduled to open their season Saturday afternoon at the Stadium of Champions against Warren Central.
However, it is now the Lady Dragons that are in protocol. What that means for the match, according to the KHSAA scoreboard, is that the Lady Tigers have been awarded a 1-0 forfeit win over Warren Central.
The Lady Tigers now will be “scheduled” to take to the field for the first time in the regular season Monday evening when they travel to Hopkins Central. The Lady Storm are currently 2-2 heading into a Saturday matchup with Lyon County.
