
Trigg County finished second at its Fenton Dawson Cross Country Invitational run Saturday at the recreation complex.
The Lady Wildcats totaled 64 points to finish five points behind first-place Apollo. Hopkinsville was third with 67 points.
Fatu Crain covered the 3.1.-mile course in 23:44. The sophomore is adding cross country this year to an already impressive track and field resume.
Reese Bush finished in 13th place in 26:26. Riley Brame was 15th in 26:46, and Alex Smith was 22nd in 28:17.
Alesha Nyakeraka was 31st in 29;26, which was 12 seconds ahead of teammate Jessie Paulter. Ciarrah Burchnell was 41st in 32:59.
