Jonathan Bridges led the Hopkinsville cross country runners Saturday at the Fenton Dawson Invitational at Trigg County.
The Hoptown junior finished in 45th place with a time of 22:06 on the 3.1-mile course that was saturated from morning rains.
Kentrell Adams finished 73rd in 24:47, and Brunson Boyette was 78th in 25:06.
The Tigers did not field the five runners necessary for a team score.
It’s a rebuilding season for the Hopkinsville cross country program who lost its top two runners from last year. Chase Atkins, the school’s most decorated runner, graduated, and Chance Jones moved out of state.
