Taylor Morris cracked the top-20 at Saturday’s Fenton Dawson Invitational at Trigg County.
The Heritage Christian Academy freshman finished in 20th place in a time of 28:01 over the 3.1-mile course. Morris had to navigate a muddy course left saturated by over an inch of rain received at the recreation complex.
Hopkinsville’s Allison Wood won the race in a time of 20:58.
In the boys’ varsity race, Tucker Wells was the lone HCA runner, finishing 104th in a time of 31:53.
MeKena Dalke was HCA’s top runner in the middle school race with a 40th place finish, while Bryce Light led the middle school guys with a 20th place finish.
