Todd’s Jacob Brandon Just Misses All A State Berth

Todd County’s Jacob Brandon just barely missed out on making the trip to Richmond for the All A Classic state golf tournament. Brandon lost a playoff for the final 4th Region individual slot Monday afternoon at the All A regional golf tournament at Monroe County.

Blake Cash, of Clinton County, took medalist honors and qualified for the state tournament as an individual with a round of 39. Jacob Ryan, of Monroe County, finished with a 40 but did not take an individual slot, as the Falcons won the team berth at Richmond.

Brandon finished his round with a score of 41, which tied him with Bo Shelton, of Glasgow, and Tate Pace, of Foundation Christian Academy.

In the team competition, Monroe County shot a 170 to take team honors. Glasgow was second with a 177. Todd County Central tied with Clinton County for third with a team score of 183.

Preston Rager – 49
Noah Rager – 49
Cole Sawyers – 50
