The Trigg County volleyball team slipped to 0-3 on the season, losing to visiting Webster County on Monday night in Wildcat Gym.
The Lady Trojans marched through the first set 25-6, with the Lady Wildcats also failing to break double digits in the second in a 9-25 loss.
The Lady Wildcats struggled with their serves all night and dropped the third set 16-25 to end the match.
“As a team, we missed too many serves. We lost our focus tonight from the start of set one and never really found a rhythm,” Trigg coach Stephen Erdmann said. “While we played better as the night went on, we cannot wait until the 3rd set to try and jumpstart our play. Plus, I didn’t feel we carried our momentum from games 3 and 4 last week against Hopkinsville into this match. We played flat.”
Trigg will be back on its home court on Tuesday when Murray High comes to Cadiz.
