Cole Renfro got a late start to the 2021 football season. The Trigg County High School senior participated in the Governor’s Scholars Program over the summer. Once it ended in late July, Renfro had to make up for lost practice time and missed the first scrimmage.
Renfro was among the team’s leading tackler in the Wildcats’ loss to Todd County Central Friday and knows there is still work to be done heading into this week’s game at Warren Central.
