Todd County Central scored 21 unanswered third quarter points to break open a close game with Trigg County and win its season opener 56-28. Head Coach Josh Robins said it was a welcome change from last year when halftime leads evaporated and turned into losses.
The second-year Rebel coach was also pleased with the play of quarterback Gavyn Nolan and running back Omarion Riddick.
