Another Christian County athletic team is putting its fall season on hold. Officials with the Christian County Public Schools announced Thursday afternoon that the Christian County boys’ soccer team would be entering COVID-19 protocols.
In a statement, school officials noted that “the Colonels have experienced an uptick in both positive and close contact cases and this quarantine will give the team time to recover and return to the pitch on September 9th against Fort Campbell.”
The Colonels had been scheduled to go to Graves County Saturday, host Logan County on September 2, host Madisonville on September 4, and take on Hopkinsville September 7.
