He is among the best ever to play at Hopkinsville High School. He helped lead the Tigers to a 61-0 thrashing of Tim Couch and Leslie County at the Stadium of Champions. He starred at Alabama and went on to play in the NFL. Friday night, Hopkinsville High School honored Miguel Merritt by retiring his #10 Hopkinsville jersey.
