Rodriguez Leads Lady Colonels in First Varsity Meet

Running in her first varsity cross country race, Christian County eighth-grader Jazmyn Rodriguez led the Lady Colonel runners at the Warren East Twilight Run Saturday in Bowling Green.

Her time of 28:47 was good for 106^th place for the 3.1-mile run.

Alyssa Adler was the second Lady Colonel across the line in 118^th place in 30:52. Guadalupe Munoz was 130^th, and Jakiyah Oatts came in 131^st place.

Seventh-grader Haddassuh Elkins was 151^st.

In the team standings, Christian County finished in 18^th place.
