Lyon County’s Travis Perry recorded his first hole-in-one and shared medalist honors during a three-team match Monday at Calvert City Country Club.
Perry and teammate Cathryn Brown each finished with even-par 36s in the nine-hole match.
Brown was actually up on Perry by two strokes with two holes to play, but Perry finished with the ace on the par-3 3rd hole and then birdied No. 4 to finish in a tie.
Luke Burchett shot a 52 for the Lyons while Colton Gobin had a 57 as Lyon placed second in the team competition with a 181.
Christian Fellowship School claimed team honors with a 173.
Hayden Engler led the Eagles with a 37 while Andrew Dunning had a 38. Dawson Hicks shot 47, Brady Fletcher 51, Bryce Cary 53 and Dylan Ortt 55.
Livingston Central was the other team in the match. Davin Grant led the Cardinals with a 47 while Machi Davidson shot a 53. Alex Parks had a 58 and Preston Hammons a 63 for Livingston.
