HCA Moves Wins Streak to Nine to Start Season

Heritage Christian Academy ran its win streak to start the 2021 volleyball season to nine games with a straight-set win at South Haven, Tennessee Tuesday.

HCA took the first two sets by identical 25-21 scores.  The Lady Warriors were leading 23-14 in the third and deciding set when a South Haven player suffered an injury.  She left the gym in an ambulance, and the match was called at that point.

Mya Goodwin had eight kills, including six in the second set. She also had eight assists and four digs.  Lexie Crisp added seven kills and 10 digs, and Bailey Craft had 14 assists, five digs, and a team-high three aces.

Bella Peach contributed a team-high 16 digs, and Cora Hale had four kills and two digs.

Heritage Christian Academy will return to Tennessee for its next match Thursday against Clarksville Christian.  The Lady Warriors will play in the annual wRECk at the Plex Friday and Saturday with pool play matches against Trigg County, Christian Fellowship, Caldwell County, and Community Christian.
