Lyon County and Trigg County saw their 5th District boys’ soccer match suspended by lightning and rain Monday night in Eddyville.
The contest was stopped with 6:41 left in the first half and Trigg holding a 2-1 advantage.
Timmy Mendez had both goals for the Wildcats. He scored with help from Daniel Jimenez in the 11th minute, then added a penalty kick in the 28th minute.
Lyon had tied the game at 1-1 with Tim Stewart found the net in the 14th minute.
The game will be finished at a later date.
