
Hunter Reynolds placed third individually and the Wildcats placed fourth as a team as Trigg County enjoyed a solid day Saturday at the Marshall County Invitational golf tournament.
Reynolds carded a 73 on the Calvert City Golf and Country Club course. He took third on a scorecard playoff after four players finished with that score.
Marshall’s Camdyn McLeod was the individual champion after shooting a 3-under-par round of 69 which included dropping a long birdie putt on No. 18 to finish his day.
Greenwood’s Mason Williams was runner-up with a 72.
Marshall’s Trey Wall was fourth with a 73 while teammate Ryan Stokes also shot 1-over. Greenwood’s Jacob Lang also carded a 73.
Marshall won the team competition of its own invite with a 292. Greenwood finished at 299. Paducah St. Mary was third at 307 while Trigg and McCracken County each shot 313.
Ty Butts also had a strong round for the Wildcats with a 2-over 74.
Hayden Reynolds shot 81, Tyler Ahart 85 and Dallas Ahart 89 for Trigg.
