Marshals’ McLeod Medalist at Marshall Invitational

Marshall County swept most of the hardware from its own invitational golf tournament Saturday afternoon at Calvert City Country Club.

The Marshals captured first place in the team standings, had the individual medalist and the fourth-place finisher.

Marshall’s team score of 292 was seven shots better than Greenwood. Paducah St. Mary was third at 307 while Trigg County and McCracken County each shot 313.

Marshall’s Camdyn McLeod was the individual champion after carding a 3-under-par round of 69 which included dropping a long birdie putt on No. 18 to finish his day.

Greenwood’s Mason Williams was runner-up with a 72.

Trigg County’s Hunter Reynolds was third on a scorecard playoff while Marshall’s Trey Wall was fourth after both players shot 73s.
