Cathryn Brown’s scorecard Saturday at the Marshall County Invitational had five circles and no squares on it for the first time in her high school career. The Lyon County junior shot a bogey-free 5-under 67 to win by three shots.
She credited several things for the win, including some practice time with LPGA pro and Caldwell County native Emma Talley on Friday.
