The Hopkinsville Lady Tigers used a balanced attack to pick up their third win of the soccer season on the road Tuesday evening. Three Lady Tigers scored two goals each as Hoptown rolled past Muhlenberg County 8-0.
Abby Moss, Allison Wood, and Anna Hernandez all found the net twice as Hopkinsville scored early and often in the win. Grasen Givens and Morgan Woosley also scored for the Lady Tigers, who finished the night with 23 shots on goal.
The Lady Tigers also did a good job on moving the ball, finishing the match with six assists. Abby Moss and Grasen Givens had two assists, while Daniela Uribe and Anna Hernandez each had one.
It was a solid night in goal for Taylor Joachim, who gets the shutout. Joachim finished the night with a pair of saves.
Hopkinsville is set to return to action Thursday evening when they travel to Princeton to take on Caldwell County.
