Whalen’s 16th Place Finish Leads Dawson Springs at All A State

Addison Whalen’s 16^th place finish paced Dawson Springs at the All A Classic State Golf Tournament in Richmond.

Whalen shot a 6-over 78 that included a pair of birdies on the front nine.  He went out at 38 and came in at 40.

Gage Smiley finished tied for 59^th with a 17-over par 89. Grayson Brewer was 73^rd with a round of 93 followed by Jake Back’s 99 that saw him finish tied for 90^th. Kolby Crook shot a 100 and was 93^rd.

Lexington Christian’s McKean Collins won the individual title with a 4-under 68.

As a team, Dawson Springs finished in 10^th place, one shot behind ninth-place Bishop Brossart and two shots behind eighth-place Monroe County.
